Turkish Film Festival September 29-october 2, 2016 At The Museum Of Fine Arts Houston , 15.09.2016

Turkish Film Festival will be held on September 29-October 2, 2016 at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. Festival showcases 6 new films that have entertained and intrigued audiences worldwide. Here are showtimes and key facts about the films:

 

---SEPT 29, 7.00 pm, SIVAS by Kaan Mujdeci (Turkey’s Oscar Entry for Best Foreign Language Film. Director Mujdeci will be in attendance and joins Q&A after the screening)

---SEPT 30, 7.30 pm IVY by Tolga Karacelik (This gripping character study follows six men confined to a ship anchored at port for 120 days)

---SEPT 30, 9.30 pm BASKIN by Can Evrenol (Turkish horror film)

---OCT 1, 5.00 pm CATS OF ISTANBUL by Ceyda Torun (Documentary featuring the lovely cats of Istanbul)

---OCT 1, 7.00 pm 125 YEARS OF MEMORY by Mitsutoshi Tanaka (Turkish-Japanese production. True story of two key events in Turkish-Japanese relationship, which deepened the friendship between two nations.

---OCT 2, 5.00 pm LEMONADE by Ali Atay (Comedy about two half-brothers who meet for the first time after their father’s dead)
